The Treaty of Versailles (ended WW I)

In the end of WWI the treaty of Versailles was signed. It pretty  much made Germany give up its Power of land and put a Huge fine on them. it left Germany poor and angry. With anger comes a want for revenge, and with a want for revenge comes irrational choices, and with irrational choices a tyrant is born, and with a tyrant born leads to an inevitable Defeat. Which is what happened. They were angry, hitler came , ww2, germany loses again.

Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) and the Modernization of Turkey

Ataturk made turkey a modern secular country. secular pretty much means non religious. Turkey was apart of the automen until it was disbanded after WWI. He pretty much wanted to make Turkey like the western countries (Europe and America), so he banned the use of the Fez h hat the Muslim men wore because when they prayed they touch their heads to the floor. he also insisted on the people wear regular clothing (hats and all). Thats how Ataturk modernized Turkey.

Gandhi was a big piece to the independence of India.His methods where way different than people would normally take. He used a non violent way,(which I think is a bad idea in the rise of power) naturaly people will go to war to gain independence (ie. American revolution.) but Gandhi was able to get the independence through peace.
